Hæ from Reykjavik, Iceland!

Hello beautiful people!!

I am an Irish/American dual-citizen who just recently moved to Iceland! I'm rounding the troops here in Reykjavik for a possible burn in 2015. Would love to meet any local burners though it is so very unlikely that anyone on here is from/lives in Iceland but, hey, stranger things have happened! Alternatively, if you find yourself traveling here, definitely reach out. I love making new friends! :)

You're right, I don't see anything on the main site about regional contacts for Icelandic Burners, just various other nearby countries . . .

And anything not on this island may as well be on another planet hahaha. No matter, we actually have a really beautiful community of people here interested in heading to Burning Man. It's quite a long way from here and literally the opposite climate so it will definitely be an adventure!!

I am replying to this to encourage folks to reach out to me if you are heading to Iceland either for a trip or even just a layover.

Some of you have already done this which has been awesome. I've been living here for a year now and love to show people around. So feel free to say hi when you're here :)

So, if I may, how is that first letter in your name pronounced. (I'll take a rough explanation--I don't have the chops for much more.) Oh, heck, is that ae thing some sort of diphthong?

Did you go to this years burn if so, did you have fun? Are you still in Iceland? And will you be you going to the next burn?

I'm the Greek regional contact, and the main lead for the -very new- Greek burn and, on my way from the USA to Greece I'll be spending 4 days in Reykjavik, 14th to 18th of June 2016. I'd love to connect with you, and anyone else from the burner community there! (Is there even one?)
