I was planning to go with a small group of veteran Burners, but the trip turned into a bro trip since 1) they're all turning 30 this year and the poor souls feel their bromance is about to take a backseat to family life, and 2) I was the only girl in the group who scored tickets in the main sale.

...which brings me to my current predicament.

In lieu of joining the brodeo, I'm hoping to find a theme camp to immerse myself in. As eager as I am to spread my radical self reliance wing and continue my deep Google sesh re: playa specific topics like Aluminet shade structures and DIY swamp coolers, I think a communal burn would be a more rewarding experience for myself.
