Is that from the Avon edition of "Much Ado About Nothing" or "Romeo and Juliet"... I recognize it from when I did a show... but I can't remember which one... Is that Beatrice or Juliet?

I don't think so, sad as I am about that. However, the guy who was the main drive behind the thing wants to finish building his jet car and race it next summer. The group is pretty burned out after three years of doing it, so we're looking for other things to do. Ideas are being discussed and although not as physically impressive as the coaster, I think we'll do fine. This whole thing has me in a quandry actually. I didn't even know about the coaster when I first learned about burning man. I hadd a blast this past year, it was exactly what I needed this year. But I know that this was not the burning man experience I really wanted. I'm seriously trying to get the group to do some big statewide project, not sure if it will fly. I'm also seriously thinking about camping with you folks. But I have a lot of ties here.helitack wrote:Hey Sput, are the carney peeps gonna have the coaster again? I want another ride. Here's a shot for you on me. Well, not ON me, shit, I'm buying you a drink.
Thanks for the shot. That and the vodka will keep me talking all night.
It's going to be alright.

Sputnik... I just found out today that I may get a job offer that will land me in Detroit or Canton, OH. What do you think? What's the living like in those places... I'm a Westerner and do know much about anything East of Winnemucca...

Well, I can't say anything about Canton, OH, but one of the Carnies grew up there. I grew up in Detroit (burbs) and lived here all my life. I know we have a bad image outside the area, but interestingly enough, it seems that the people I know who move here from out of state for a job tend to stay, even if they loose the job. It's really a nice place to live. And we have a few really great burner groups.samtzu wrote:Sputnik... I just found out today that I may get a job offer that will land me in Detroit or Canton, OH..
