Yes they do. I can't picture them letting a carload of family members cruise through without tickets. I assume the assigned Leos have some credential for entry.

Yea, Mile 12 Gate. But one would assume the same credentials for flying in too.
I guess what I'm saying is I would be more concerned about how PnP camps 'get' tickets and stay the week, rather than the handful that come in via LEOs and spend a day.

LE can get in without a ticket on official business, but it seems a stretch for family members to come along. Personally it seems like an abuse to myself.

The man burn last year was awesome!!
Personally, as a Nevadan, if the sheriff wants to go for the day it can only be good. It may be hard to understand but Nevada is still a bit of the 'old west' and the 'sheriff' of the second largest county (in the old days) does whatever the fuck he wants. Taking his wife and adult son out to BRC for the day is not out of line IMHO.
How many of you can say your sheriff went to burning man?
Personally, as a Nevadan, if the sheriff wants to go for the day it can only be good.
