Hi mates,
As I am lucky enough to have a car and a vehicule pass, in order to keep whole my karma by not driving selfishly alone, I can get 2 or 3 burners from San-Francisco (tenderloin area) to BRC.
The plan is to depart from San-Francisco Saturday 27th August in the morning and head to Lake Tahoe in late afternoon. Should you need to make errands we can stop at a home depot or such where we will have plenty of time. Night camp at Lake Tahoe. The morning after (Sunday August 28th) head to BRC.
My rental is medium sized (Dodge Caravan), I guess there is enough room for 2 more people with stuff (bikes, water, bins, tents) or perhaps 3.
All passengers will have to show a Burning Man ticket (the printed one or the will-call number). If you are more than 25 years old with a driving license, perhaps we could share the wheel.
Return drive on Monday 5 September with also a stop on the road, arriving at SFO on Tuesday 6 September.
-> from SFO on Saturday 27th August in the morning
<- arriving at SFO on Tuesday 6 September around noon
Cheers!

You may want to reconsider adding yet another person to your vehicle. I think you will find that with three people, bikes, supplies, and everyone's gear, you are already beyond packed in a Dodge Caravan. Stacked to the ceiling, forget being able to use the rear view mirror for driving... Just a suggestion, do as you wish...
You may be surprised by how much stuff you will bring and need to fit inside. The poor guy in the back will ride with bags or an ice chest in their lap, or handlebars that they keep hitting their head on. Not too many vehicles roll into BRC with any extra room to spare, everyone is fully loaded overloaded.

Sooner or later, it will get real strange...

There is no way to fit 3 bikes and 3 people in a Dodge caravan. I drove one for 15 years. 2 people, no back seats, bikes inside with all gear filled the space. 3 people, bikes on the roof, all the gear and hope you don't burn out the transmission. (They all burn out by the way.) 4 people and you might as well call the tow truck and have them meet you in Auburn.
