I've been lurking here searching for solutions to all of my problems for a week or so. OMG, so full of awesome and helpful stuff.
I've been burning locally for ten years, and I'm taking the plunge to go to the main event this year, mostly due to the theme (yay!).
I'm coming with a moderately big camp and have totally over committed to be in charge of stuff for it, because I'm dumb, but mostly because I want showers and food and the one sure fire way to get that is to be in charge of making it happen.
So, I'm scrounging around here for tried and tested solutions.
So, thanks and maybe I'll see you out there!

You are a valuable source of nitrogen, and don't let anyone tell you differently.

Welcome.
Savannah: I don't know what it is, but no thread here escapes alive. You'll get 1 or 2 real answers at minimum, occasionally 10 or 12, and then we flog it until it's unrecognizable and you can't get your deposit back.

What the hell's the theme got to do with anything? You mean anyone pays any attention to that at your regional?

Welcome! Nice to see another fellow Texan! Looking forward to meeting you and all the rest!
Yes, I am going to meet all 70,000 Burners! So......what was that about over commitment?

I would like to treat my gas pedal as a binary operator and get the cooperation of everyone in front of me!

Wait, are you saying that no one is going to build an amazing wooden Da Vinci machine and burn it to the ground for my viewing pleasure this year?Captain Goddammit wrote:What the hell's the theme got to do with anything? You mean anyone pays any attention to that at your regional?
I just need one. Maybe this one?
