Thank you, Aurelia, magic marty, lucky 420 and Ratty! As far as doing something for myself goes, I'm going to hold off for the moment. I'm in a strange 'iffy' sort of mood, one I can't really describe because things are proceeding at such a fast and furious pace here. I took a drive south on Friday to aid the resident engineer of a major project office with my expertise, and was sitting on the hot seat for a day as to whether my advice was followed successfully or not.

Meantime, another 'Jump on it NOW' project hit my inbox, and I nailed that today. AND I found out that the first project came off without a hitch, I should be celebrating, but I'm waiting for the next shoe to drop. I'll be ready for it, but I hqve to keep reminding those in power that a so-called 'emergency' on someone else's plate is not necessarily sufficiently dangerous to make it a priority where I'm the one who has to make it nice-nice for all. Kudos or no, I don't like sitting on pins and needles for a job's duration
