not that cheap and ive never phrased the pricing that way, but yes. just to cover the cost. i have about 10 slots and the rental alone is expensive, so if you want to do math to TRY and invalidate me then go for it!Darren wrote:Are you the same guy posting on the Florida burns page offering this service for xxx a bike yyy per bin? So... you're not volunteering to help people out but are trying to "cover your costs"? and using this thread to advertise without advertising?Navi_Keef wrote:not that cheap and ive never phrased the pricing that way, but yes. just to cover the cost. i have about 10 slots and the rental alone is expensive, so if you want to do math to TRY and invalidate me then go for it!Darren wrote:Are you the same guy posting on the Florida burns page offering this service for xxx a bike yyy per bin? Everyone is so politically fucked up that they're segregating themselves in the name of equal rights and liberation.

Methinks we are picking on Navi_Keef unnecessarily. Surely, sharing of travel costs is not commerce.

It's bait and switch. Offer one thing and then "oh by the way that costs $$$".
He was straight up in Florida where< I presume, charging is ok. But on Eplaya he is a little more underhanded and does not tell us he is charging.
With the changes on the board I am not sure what for profit can be advertised. What I object to is trying to get in the back door. That is a con.

Re: Truck and trailer from the southeast-Florida
Even cost sharing like splitting gas costs on a ride share need to be done via back channel here on ePlaya so really he was just playing by the rules. My question is Navi why have you chosen a trailer larger than you personally need and can afford? Have you considered getting a smaller trailer so you can be more self sufficent in paying for it?

Yes. This is why:Navi_Keef wrote:
my thread was posted this morning and already has over 10 replies
every thread posted in this section for the past 3 days has less than 5 replies
is there an obvious reason why people are coming in here to talk shit and troll?.....

Re: Truck and trailer from the southeast-Florida
It's worth pointing out that people offering a rideshare, RV share, or gear haulage share are allowed and welcome to ask for people to help pitch in to cover costs (gas, maintenance, mileage, insurance, etc). However, as per our posted policies we do ask that people keep the particulars and dollar amounts confined to private conversations between interested parties and not posted in the thread. I'm scrubbing those particulars from the posts above. If Navi_Keef's offer is of interest to you or you have additional questions, please get in touch using the PM/email buttons to discuss details.

thank you for your support, I was unsure on the rules so i felt that it was best to not say anything about money and only discuss it with people genuinely interested in the service i am offering rather than having bystanders with ill intentions grill me.
