Tickets received?
I've had some questions on whether or not people have received their tickets. I am curious, how many people on this forum who ordered tickets haven't received them yet? Inquiring minds want to know.

Still waiting for the e-mail and the tickets. I selected 2 day shipping so I had tracking on them as well.

Re: Tickets received?
We got our tickets last week, however we did not get an email that they were on their way.
They post man left a need signature to pick up and I grabbed from the local post office.

Just got my email yesterday.
Tickets are going out, they're packaged by hand to match orders. It's never been a quick process, but they are moving.

Re: Tickets received?
I did get my tickets the other day. The part that trips up most people is the signature requirement, because USPS doesn't come when you're home. I had them mailed to my office. First-class can take up to a week after you get your notification email, mine only took 2 days.

Woo hoo! The email has arrived!
Hello Dave,
Your Burning Man 2016 order has been created! Your USPS tracking number is 'XXXX'. You can track your package at USPS.com.
Please note, it may take anywhere from 1-2 business days from when you receive this email for your order to be trackable on USPS.com. If you don't see anything in USPS right away, just sit tight and check again in a couple days.
See you on the playa!

Re: Tickets received?
Seems like I got the delivery email around the 22nd of June. They arrived on June 30th. WooHoo! No signature, but had to be scanned when I picked them up.

Got the email on Tuesday last week but the tracking still says pre-shipment....I suspect they will arrive before the tracking catches up. Trying to be patient but not doing a very good job of it!

Don't be worried yet, we've still got a while before shipping is finished. Every order is pulled & packaged by hand, and every red hot is lovingly placed in the envelope by a playa elf, none of which moves quickly.spewey wrote:Not even an email yet, kinda worrified.
Burning Man will announce once all tickets are shipped (probably mid-late July), at that point, and only that point, should someone be worried. Having anxiety while waiting for your email and for them to arrive is normal, but don't worry you're not getting them.
On another note: got my email on the 30th, tickets arrived today (I am, however, in the same city they ship them from, so YMMV). I've got to say, these are probably the most beautiful tickets ever, and the unphotographable holograms are really going to fuck with scalpers - if desperate people are on their toes, anyway.

No email, no tix. Campmate who lives a mile away and who ordered within minutes received his tickets on the 28th. Is it possible they are going alphabetical?

Re: Tickets received?
Nobody outside of Ticketing/ Ticketfly knows the order they go out since Pre-Sale, Distributed & Main Sale all go out in a jumble (I doubt it's alphabetical - I'm an "S" and received mine the other day). Based on previous years there are still weeks to go in this process and there's no reason to worry that anyone's been forgotten, though the "where are mine??" anxiety is normal.
[personal opinion]
Rough made up figures in my head: ~1000 orders being mailed a day, all orders packed by hand to make sure they match - and that we get our fireballs - so there's in excess of 35,000 orders to ship (~65,000 tickets to ship, most orders for 2 tickets. I'm guessing ~5,000 tickets at Will Call, but have no idea since I'm making all these numbers up based on the experience of previous years)

Re: Tickets received?
Hi there,
As you can see in the picture the Tickets are on Pre Shipment since June 28.
The Problem is that I get them sent to the Hotel i'm living at (coming from Germany, currently working in Atlanta ).
Do I get a notification when they will be sent out?
I'm a little bit concerned because it seems they have to be signed
Cheers,
Kilian
Edit: Btw i'm going back to germany for 10 days next Thursday, so that doesn't really make things better

Got the email UPS Ship Notification at 4PM yesterday which says scheduled delivery is today. As of noon, the status on UPS Tracking site says Order Processed and Ready for UPS.
