In Praise of Thread Drift

Post by theCryptofishist » Fri Dec 03, 2004 12:23 pm

Dang, I gotta love it that in 4 pages we can take a discussion on Semantics and start talking about Babe the Blue Ox. (What was it with him and Paul anyway? and did they have to attend support group meetings with Juan Valdez and the burro?)

And I love what's happened to the salad bar thread.

Did you know that there's also a Paul Bunyan statue in Maine? and one out California between Susanville and Butte county?

Of course there was a period in my life in which I always said "Juan 'Exxon' Valdez."

That has nothing to do with Susanville.

I need to blow up the tire of my festiva an put some oil in it, I've been driving the van since I got back from Burning Man, I think the little car does better in the snow.

fishy;;; I love this thread. thank you.

oh, and as far as true thread drift: the salad bar, turning into the hitachi wand discussion wins the prize, I think. all in 2 pages.

I'm just dissapointed that my third couple "Joel and DVD" got lost by the system somehow. Maybe it's for the best.

Even better than Susanville, is Sierraville... great hot springs there... great memories... and she had great mammaries...

no one out there with a middle name of 'Sierra', is there?
