Virgin Russian burners say hi!

Post by Pershich » Tue Jul 05, 2016 4:15 am

Hi everybody from Moscow, Russia!

I'm a civil engineer (in Russia it means that I can drink all that burns),I also love to sing and play the guitar, but I can't)) And my frend... He is just a Star!) We read a huge number of posts, but apparently it was useless, because it's just impossible to predict what will actually happen there. So we rent a van and hope to survive. It would be great to join some crazy friendly camp, or just find lots of new friends, wich like us confused, but not scared, because we all know that this is the coolest event in the life!

Hope to see you all soon :D :D

Welcome to eplaya. I know you will have a great time in Black Rock City. I visited St. Petersberg a few years back. What a great city.
Your English is very good. Better than most people here! 8)

Welcome.
Savannah: I don't know what it is, but no thread here escapes alive. You'll get 1 or 2 real answers at minimum, occasionally 10 or 12, and then we flog it until it's unrecognizable and you can't get your deposit back.

Hey there, welcome to eplaya!
Elderberry

When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle.
Then I realized that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me

Thanks) You english is pretty good too
My friend is from Petersburg and I'm from Moscow, and I love them both))

So, maybe you tell me, is it possible and will it be polite join to camp? Or maybe you can advise some of them, that will not mind strangers?
I think that it will be more interesting and fun, to be particle of the community. Because if only with my friend, I'm afraid, we will just drink vodka all 8 days)))

Many people don't join camps. You will find friendly neighbors and lots of interesting people around you. You may even decide to move your camping area if you make new friends.
The most important thing is to go with an open mind and don't worry about the small details. Everything always works out great there.
I hope you take the time to read the preparation information and first timers guide in my signature below.

Camp D.O.A. had a super international crew in 2014 and had a blast. Send me a private message if you want to know more about our camp. This year we will be at 3:30 and Cosimo which will be pretty close to the action. In 2014 we had members from Berlin, Finland, New York, Oregon, Arizona and California.

Welcome, Pershich! :D

Make sure you're bringing lots of electrolytes to drink with your vodka; due to the dryness and the altitude, you won't need to drink as much to achieve the same effect.

Pershich and friend. Welcome to ePlaya. Do read everything. Don't be afraid to camp without joining a camp. You will have a ball with or without an organized camp. The hard part is getting here. Keep it simple. Repeat that to yourself when buying, packing, planning. Keep it simple. Enjoy.
