In The Oregon, we vote by mail. If you want to vote in person, you can go to the county election office, but almost no one does.

Legislation was just introduced to make that nationwide.

You need to register to vote and keep your address up to date with the elections office. You get the ballot in the mail, color in the boxes with a #2 pencil or black ink pen, put it in the secrecy envelope, then sign the outer envelope, just like you would sign the book for in-person voting.

Here we have to put a stamp on it and return, the national legislation would be prepaid return.

Oregon, Washington and Colorado have it. Most states use it for absentee voting already. If you want to talk about a revolution, this is it.

I'm a great leader theory of change rather than a take it to the streets theory person.

The anti-Vietnam War movement, anti-Iraq war, WTO Seattle and Occupy did not achieve their aims. Yes, they were fun. In the US, most people are busy, distracted, or just plain don't follow the news.

There is a great documentary on the Chicago 1968 Democratic Convention. I hope street war doesn't happen in Cleveland or Philadelphia, it would play into the hands of US leaders of the Erdoğan type. But I think we have a generation that thinks street war can be successful in the US.

I think the current protesters, don't do it right, and don't have the backing of enough numbers.
they somehow think they invented this, and know how to do it better. If, they'd take lessons from what worked, I'd see them making more headway.
