Remember that you don't have to sign up ahead of time, so any day you realize "oh, it's mid-to-late-afternoon-ish!" come by Center Camp. If you're early, we'll be having one of our themed parties in the lounge. If you're the planning sort, gate Sunday, man burn Saturday, and pre-event Saturday tend to be the days when we need the most help.

Turns out I am not burning this year. No issues, just taking a year off to do different stuff in possibly less dry conditions...

The Lamplighters are special. They walk by us at the Black Rock Beacon every year, and what happens? We start up the chorus of

"WE LOVE YOU, LAMPLIGHTERS!!"

go to your burner profile, you should be able to find the volunteer questionaire there. you can always swing by playa info at center camp during the event. I believe they have an on the spot volunteer board there.

Just signed up for Ice Sales at Ice Cubed Tuesday 9 to Noon and Thursday Noon to 3. :D
Possibly pick up a couple more shifts. We shall see!

If you decide to put in some volunteer time at the last minute, go to Center Camp. The Volunteer Resource Team runs the 'V Spot' in Center Camp. They have the low down on who's short handed.

I'm volunteering at The Zendo Project this year. I'm really looking forward to having shifts to go to outside of my camp.

Greeters is the BEST job on playa. Come out to play with us. Please sign up - but if you haven't, check in with the Lead greeter, who will train you, let you greet with a veteran greeter to get comfy, and then you get to welcome a lot of people home.
