Aluminet covering love monkey hut hybrid over tent for camping need also uv protection.

Greetings-
The burn is neigh!! So far I love my aluminet and it works wonderfully! I am concerned though with the bombardment of UV rays through the aluminet while we're catching up on those precious z''s in the morning or trying to escape from the brutal sun during the heat of the day.

What have other folks done in addition to using aluminet over their camp? The lady doesn't want tarp because she hates the sound it makes in the wind. So I'm looking for something like mesh. I was thinking I could place this layer in between thr ribs of thr hut and under the Aluminet.

I stumbled on this stuff called solar shade, it's designed specifically to block UV, and I believe IR. Would this be overkill combined with the IR reflecting abilities of the Aluminet?

Anyone else deal with this already?

EDIT : yes well be wearing sun screen ;)

I've used a variety of big scarfy fabric under the aluminet in strategic spots. Like sarongs.
An old rain fly from a small tent, the remnants of bargain table bolts of silky stuff.
It made deeper shade where I needed it, still allowed air flow, and looked cozy.
If I've told you once, I've told you ten thousand times..jazz hands goddammit....JAZZ HANDS!!!
