Welcome home!! This is going to be quite an experience. Just saw your post and we are looking for 2 people to fill our 8-person RV. Two of our friends had to drop out last minute so we are looking to fill the spots. We are a fun, easy going group from San Francisco who've all been to the burn 1-2 times. 3 guys, 2 girls at the moment, in our early 30s. Lottery ticket!!!!! How cool is this.... Me and my best friend are from Belgium, and we've got this crazy plan to go to Burning Man this year.
Everything is working out, we've got our tickets and vehicle pass, BUT, no vehicle...
Finding the right rental car is proving to be quite the hassle, but one check on Rideshare and we find you guys!!!
I hope this will be our way to get there ( and back preferably)
So, some info on us: We, Paul and Sjoerd, are easy going Belgium guys, 42 and 39, and have done a fair share of travelling. It's going to be our first Burning Man adventure, and we hope sharing this ride will get us right in the vibe!
How clean are we...? ummm, depends on what kind of pizza we have to step over... haha... Well I guess at home I'm a 7, travelling I'm a 2; which means i run a tidy home, but can handle all kinds of situations while travelling (i've spent a year in India and there's lots of pizza's lying around)
A sin I've comitted.... not having gone to Burning Man yet!
My sister lives in San Fransisco and is trying to set me up with camping gear and other stuff, but we still haven't figured out how to get it and ourselves to the site. Our plane is arriving aug. 25 in the evening, and we were planning to go to BM on Friday or Saturday. Hope this checks out with your plans...
