Critical Tits 2004 Feedback
I also have to agree with the two previous posts. I kind of felt like, o god, here comes CT, I better run and hide so no one thinks I am a perv. I actually was busy fixing our structure, so I didn't really have any time to truely check it out, but I definately didn't feel welcome to do so anyway. I realize that the theard is for feedback on the event (or maybe the party and not the event, to be honest I can't keep track of that stuff) but I can tell you that I don't feel welcome to check out the parade. Which is weird because isn't a parade where people go to get checked out.
Seek not to follow in the footsteps of the wise but seek what they sought
One or two bad apples can try to spoil any pie - whether it be yahoo men videotaping the parade, oversensitive riders crashing into men they think might be yahoos, yahoo men treating the CT party as a pick-up spot, or angry people flaming something special created with love by hundreds of non-bad apples and appreciated by thousands. In any of these cases, the bad apple does not mean the entire recipe sucked, just that some people didn't want to follow it.
I am still hearing wonderful stories from lady friends I know about their experiences at the party. So I'm sure not going to let any bad apples spoil my pie today. We don't need so much anger on this thread or any of them.
Peace,
Arthur

Fuck the parade people.this is about the party. The parade could be canceled for all I care. The party is what this conversation is all about. The only reason this bothers me is because we are hearing all these comments about the parade, whith all these people pissed that the parade wa in their way and such.Thats alot of negativity in a thread about a very positive event(the party). If you dont have any constuctive comments about the party, then your comments are just clogging up a thread that could have been useful.Thanks...

You can be as pissed off as you like. The thread has drifted to what it is.

We welcome any stories from the party as well. As the Party Organizer I would like to pass on some suggestions and stories from the community to whomever runs the party next year.
We are also interested as a camp in seeing any photos that were taken of the party this year. While we do try to enforce a camera free zone, we did see many many ladies using cameras and would love to add your photos to our archive of the event.
Thanks again to the 250+ men and women who volunteered to make this years celebration of the goddess by FAR the best ever!

[quote="angelgabe"][quote="captainerotica"] <snip> First you want to ride CT and only a select few should look. Now you want to post on a open board and only a select few should read or post back. Maybe you need your own event so the rest of us can be free to play on the playa/e playa.

I dont want to restrict anyone from anything.I only point out what happens if you post a reply to a thread about one thing, talking about something else. The thread started as a useful clearing-house of ideas and feedback for the afterparty, and has turned into free-for-all of "I like showing my tits",and "I like seeing tits, just not those that dont want to be looked at" type comments. This thread had a specific use.Now its just a place to exchange flames it seems.

me thinks you have some control issues. Thread drift is a common thing. And "you" can not control that. I can see no other reason for yor posts.

You're right, it did sound narccisitic. Remember, you're the common element in all your encounters.scarlet_minnow wrote:** Sometimes I feel like I can't even make eye contact with guys because so many of them perceive even that level of normal human interaction as an invitation to offer a come-on. So to those guys who volunteer at the CT party, THANK YOU. Seriously, from the bottom of my heart. EVERYONE who helps out at the party deserves a standing ovation. See ya next year, party people!

Personally,I think most people are taking pictures/recording the parade because they are awestruck by it-no matter what else you think,a few thousand decorated, topless women is not something you see everyday. And some people want to show their friends how awesome it is.Frankly,I recorded the parade once, and showed it to people. Its pretty hard to get aroused by something like that.Saying that, some of those pictures were pretty self-explainitory.One question-how do we know all those other photographer/videophiles weren't trying to record images of other "perverts" as well.Makes ya think, huh?

Hee! I remember you. My friend and I got swept into the party after our first CT ride - her first Burn ever, my third. You were very respectful, and very obviosuly there with your wife. (You'll also probably never read this, since you posted so long ago.) But I think I got as much of a kick out of your gold thong as you might have gotten out of my tattoo, if you even noticed me in the flood of thousands. So, we're even, and I'm glad you were there.thinkcooper wrote:I might have been one of the creepy men with a camera at the opener for the party.
Me: Mohawk? Check. Gold thong? Check. Decently ripped and tanned for a 47 year old? Check.
Why was i there? To be supportive and celebrate with someone very importnat to me. My beautiful wife, mother of two, terribly self concious of the changes that birth leaves, went topless at CT, first time in over a decade, with beautiful big eyes painted on her by her loving husband. She was ecstatic to be a part of it, and I was very proud to see her participate. I wanted pictures of her doing ice shots and hanging out in the crowd. She wanted them as well. I was yelled at several times only to hear my wife say I was with her and she wanted the pics. Oddly, the womyn that were cheering my wife on when she was bent over doing vanilla stoli and getting her cute little butt wacked weren't told to stop snapping pics even thought they seemed like they were leering as much as a creepy guy might have been.Have pictures to prove it if you want to see em... Ah, I didn't care, neither did my wife. we had a great time, and got some great shots.
Sincerely, and truly sorry if my being there bothered anyone. Thank you for tolerating my presence.
Cheers!
I loved the after party, and my only suggestion to improve it is - more!

I refuse to believe any of you that say those guys are perverted. I know that they worship me and all of us who were in the ride. They were happy for us to be able to show ourselves, without being ashamed or worried for our safety. I was flattered that we still held your interest even though we were 20 minutes into the ride. I never knew I had that kind of influence. Just a wave of my arm sent a silent crowd into roaring cheers.
I will forget everything I have read here and I'll wave to you on my ride next year.

Where have I been all my life?
It was my first burn, and then somebody yelled that Critical Tits is happening, and i'm standing there watching it just happen in front of me.
At first it was pretty exciting, but by the hundredth pair of tits I just got jaded. I shouted out my appreciation, but that's about it.
Still, great cause. Almost makes me wish I too could be worshipped as an earth goddess.

And... since this thread is supposed to be about the after party, I should say I was very happy to find the party was only for the women in the parade. I was bracing myself for an onslaught at the end of the ride and had my jacket with me so I could cover up. Instead I met some wonderful women, had my feet washed, and cornered my favorite man who was volunteering. I did try to work my way up through the crowd to see the band, then realized there wasn't one. Maybe a live band would be willing to volunteer? It would inspire me to dance more. Maybe some hula hoops would be fun. They could let men in one at a time near the end of the party, but they would have to qualify somehow. Something that would be entertaining for the women.
Now that I know people don't really like to see the riders I might take a shortcut to the party next year.
