five and a half hour to pavement this afternoon, leaving camp at 3:00PM... 4 pulse stops, all in all about what I was expecting, for leaving later in the day. Took a a couple naps, listened to a book on tape, was gifted a nice sticker and some twizzlers. Got to Reno by 11:00.

thenBRC Rangers and law enforcement are on Gate Road at the asphalt inspecting vehicles looking for a lost person.

They are not inspecting vehicles for any other reason.

Hmmm, glad I left on sunday. Only one 45 minute pulse to hit the pavement.
