I confess that this planet (and the people in it) has beaten me, abused me, shot at me, reviled me, spit on me, tried to kill me (almost succeeding) many times, and that I have, several times, thought of checking out.... I confess that I have never felt like I fit... anywhere!Rian Jackson wrote:i confess that sometimes this board is a really unfriendly place.
i confess that sometimes i think BM isn't all we make it out to be.
i confess that it what it probably boils down to is this: i just don't belong here, either in this community or this country.
I also confess that, in spite of all of the bullshit that has gone on, I am so in love with Life itself, and so full of Joy, that I am going to laugh my way through the rest of it, just to spite those who thought they could stop me... including all the gods....
I also confess that I am probably quite insane... either that, or everyone else is...

I confess that I"m sorry I missed said contraption and that the MrFishist and I have had paint mixers jokes almost from the get go.GuinivereElise wrote:I confess that the paint mixer was the main component of the "orgasmatron" and that I adore aforementioned paint mixer.

Jesus! That makes my Dodge 4X4 short bed seem like a Japanese pickup... But, I can get all my BM stuff into it, too.helitack wrote:I confess that I drive a gas hog, 5789 pound hunk of 1985 3/4 ton, four wheel drive, Chevy Suburban with a Gawd help me, carburetor. But hen I can get all my stuff for 8 days of BM into and on it. I like it. ht

even seattle streets threaten to eat them. they bottom out on everything.helitack wrote:Civics are nice for civic things but the dry washes, boulders, washboard roads, snow drifts in the Sierra, and the guhnarly steep stuff tend to eat them. Someday I may get a mule.
the horse pasture in PDX was quite the adventure for my little road beast. it's still got shit in the whell wells.
but they are reliable and get decent gas mileage. i'm driving an 87 and, though it's had a few issues - CV joint, electrical (heater, particularly) - it's held up really well.
and, no matter what Sensei says, yes i did have to bend my knees to sleep in the backseat.

my favorite are steve's vehicles - steve is the back woods minnesotan older brother of my college roommate. i've had a crush on him for about 5 years - you know, one of those things that is just meant to stay that way even if it does seem to be mutual - anyway, ge's a total hick; usually drives a huge red diesel truck. there's room for about 6 people across the bench seat.
*swoon*
oops. sorry. w're supposed to be confessing here, aren't we.
fuck that shit.
so anyway, steve's other vehicle was a jeep that he converted to go mudding. we used to have some mightly good times in that thing.
