All while arguing why what he was doing wasn't wrong the whole time. He was not a newbie.

We gave him the playa name of Narcississy. NOT invited back next year.
Sounds like he should have been invited to camp elsewhere this year too.
Oh, contact his ex-camp and find out what he did to them!

CaffeineGirl, I don't know if we're discussing the same people, but I saw people on dance floors with those capes you write on with some laser thing and it glows for a few minutes. They'd approach people who were dancing (and clearly on something) to let them play with the lasers. OK, amusing.

Then, they'd hand out f-ing business cards.

Total mood-killer. Just one example of how I saw the vibe of BRC change late-week.

I don't know why but I always like to read these posts. Maybe because it strikes up conversations about what is generally considered "acceptable behavior", if there is such a thing. I do think that as a whole there are certain societal expectations of each other & some acts that many would consider Asshat worthy.

Has anyone started this topic for 2016?

Biggest asshat I saw was a guy taking a piss right next to the power area of an art piece in deep playa. It was early in the week, middle of the day. The porto's were within view. He kneeled down next to the battery box and whipped it out. I rode by on my trike...stared long enough to make him a little uncomfortable and stated that the porto's were RIGHT THERE...
I hope his puddle ran toward him and got on his knees.

I don't know the name of the installation, but it was toward the 3:00 side, had a rustic fence around it, had a teeter totter inside among other structures. There was another teeter totter not too far from it with Mona Lisa doing the splits (which I loved!!)

My ass-hat was at our art piece Ursa major. Girl and guy were looking at her and they asked if I was the artist and I said yes. The guy politely asked if it would be okay to climb it. I said it really wasn't set up to climb so no. The girl immediately starts yammering at me that he can climb it if he wants to as "everything here is okay to climb. It's in the rules." I asked her what rules she was referring to and she just started yelling that you can't stop him and told her boyfriend to go ahead. He was mortified and started to try to apologize but she cut him off and said she was going up. I told her if she tried I'd drag her off. She told her boyfriend to kick my ass. He told her to shut up. She started to scream at him. He left. She screamed at me that this was all my fault. She left. End of story.
