I snort a small line of playa dust every day.

for medicinal purposes, of course.

Whew, today was a great big bag of geeky fun. Lots of (non-playa) projects wrapped up over the weekend and this morning, and a handful of updates were released. No whammies, but the day was buzzing with activity. And then this evening I got the ePlaya software update installed, everything went smoothly. Huzzah, now off to make a cocktail...

My turf is rather soggy at the moment, what with this wonderful rain. But I will certainly wave -- from the dry side of my windows.
(I had Millicent's front wheels sitting on ramps so I could work underneath, and the other morning the ramps disappeared into the ground.

Today's the first in a few that it hasn't been raining, I'm glad we've been getting it. This week has been a welcome breather from some geeky projects, and then yesterday was a big keynote for some stuff my sweetie's been working on for a long time.

The timing of the breather works out great, since a new version of the Civilization game that we both like just came out. Lots to explore and play around with!

My Son took me to see the movie the accountant.
I loved it but needed to cover my ears for some of the loud. It is about a brilliant person with challenges. At first I told my son I would preferred to see the Jack reacher movie he said no mom I think you're gonna like this

I spoke too soon about the rainy, it's been off and on today. Lucky for me, it was dry when I was out running errands. Even more lucky, a big load of really awesome meyer lemons had just come in with my lemon guy, I couldn't resist loading up and guess I'll be making batches of limoncello for next year after all...

I woke up toooooooo early. oh well, I guess it was predictable.

I went to see Oscilator's opening of the light Chimes in Wingfield Park in Reno last night. Very beautiful, also scoped his river lights, and those are very cool indeed. Good live music as well, Be Calm, Honcho.

A campfire and some coffee is always a good way to start the day, and piss away a perfectly good morning time as well.
