Are Burners: Dog People or Cat People or Other?

I have my suspicions, but I thought I would run a little survey of which furry, hairy, scaly, leathery, feathery and other friends that we love and/or have in our homes.

After one year, I will compute the numbers and report the findings.

Me? I am a dog person.

I'm 100% dog person.

And goat, sheep, pig, duck, turkey, chicken, alpaca ...

Which makes me a farmer.

No cats. Never ever.

My question is......... What's your Spirit Animal? Maybe that can be the next survey.

But if you are forcing me to chose I will go with Dogs.

I like my cat but feel stupid jogging with him.

For organisms of study and as objects of fascination, reptiles and amphibians win out for me, in particular snakes and lizards.

But for snuggling, hiking, and wrastlin', I adore dogs.

What does my name imply?

Actually I like all animals, in their place.
I don't mind seeing a rattlesnake while off-roading in the desert, but I sure as hell don't want to see one around my house.

Last Friday the 21st I had to be to work at 3:30am so when I was ready to head out the door, about 2:30am, I peaked out the little window the door has on it. I'm glad I did. Their was a raccoon on the front porch, about the length and breadth of a large Basset Hound but about 8-10 inches or so taller. At first I thought it was a German Shepard.

They have the edge with me, but I love both cats and dogs.

Well, they can still be cute when they are cats.

They like to jump up in my lap when I am trying to get ready for work. It is their attempt to keep me from leaving. Sometimes they tag team the effort.

P.S. This one will play fetch as well as any dog I have ever known. He also organizes his toys in his box (we had to give him a box after he kept trying to steal every open box we got leftover from an Amazon shipment) and will bring the one he wants to play with to you.

That's impressive!

Cats have high level of harmful-to-humans organims in natural "ecosystem" in the mouth. A cat bite can be dangerous. A cat bit my hand once, and I practicaly watched the infection walk up my arm for a few hour until the ER nuked it with antibiotic.

Same with bears, in case your name Grizzly Adams. Ha ha.
