Oh yeah, I certainly think there's a conservative swing to this event and its attendees. I'd go as far as to say that it applies to the majority of attendees. The event seems to even emphasize it too. The whole "radical self-reliance" thing, and an emphasis of gifting as charity rather than providing actual services. People aren't even all that thrilled that artists rely on crowdfunding for their projects.

All this doesn't, of course, extend to those "conservative" identity values that typically get associated with our more conservative political party though. I'd actually consider those to be some artificial attachment resulting from Nixon's Southern Strategy. A shame, really.
