I need a drink. Plans changed and I CAN go to the Festival of Lights Parade. The float is themed Wizard of OZ. I don't have a costume ready so I'll be the wizard. Green suit, mustache, scepter. Surely I have that around here somewhere. It will be cold and oh, lots of green lights. Busy busy.

The Christmas parade was great fun. I found out that there is NO level ground in Auburn Ca. There were 4 floats from the local burners, (out of 100). Of course they had the best lights, sounds and a poofer. After parties and delish food. Country living at its finest.

Did Clearlake's Christmas Parade last night, on a Playa bicycle built by a camp-mate. The silly thing is slightly difficult to ride, and especially so when I ride it in circles. Crashed six or seven times, but only once all the way over with the bike on top of me. What a great time!

Nice. Elliot, did you have a similar trike in 2008? My memory is fuzzy, although I think the clothed man is not you. Any idea?

Re: The Bar 2016 Edition
That's me in the blue shirt in 2008. And my trike, which was originally a bike.
But the bike I rode in this parade was a different one, built by my camp-mate Al. I'm storing it for him, and I figured it ought to be be exercised.

Morning all Lucky, not so lucky to be bored at 3:30 AM. Ratty, that is one very funny ad. Hi Catman.. Beautiful but cold morning here in the Bay Area. Of course not so cold when compared to most of the USA and Canada in a deep freeze. Hi BVB Elliot, you have the right idea. Hot tub weather, but hold the pooch!

Re: The Bar 2016 Edition
Hello you wonderful ones!
Cat man thank you.
Lucky magic Marty Yggy yay!
Today I did a really weird thing with my daughter and son in law helping me. My oldest son is feeling alone a bit and did not want to celebrate.
I bought him a little tree that smells good and we went to his place and installed it all natural ornaments except for the LED lights .
When he gets home from work he will walk into his perfect little bachelor pad to a shining tree.
I know it's a bit invasive but we did it and I think I'm glad. He had said he didn't want a tree because he was alone
Almost done almost done enjoy the holidays all of you!

LEDs don't run near as hot as typical bulbs.
Hope that lifts his spirits.
