The Bar 2017 Edition

D'oh! Who hit the snooze button on the 2017 edition of The Bar? Sorry about that, folks, I've been up to my eyeballs with some fun and unusual projects (working on a new virtual world, of all things), and I haven't been on the board a lot lately.

2016 had some great moments, but also had a whole lotta tough and challenging times for me as well.... More than many years in recent memory, I'm glad it's finally over. I hope you're all well, and that you're looking forward to and working toward some really great things in 2017. For the uninitiated, all are welcome to come in and post, enjoy a beverage of your choice, and socialize with other burners from all over. Cheers!

Hey gang! Wow, I see that Ygmir and others are hard at work on the interior. But do you all remember a few years ago when we had a ladder similar to this, which led to the hot tub on the roof? I remember repairing that ladder at least once.
Well, I missed that tub last year, so I'm building one now. In fact, I just filled it, and there are only some finishing touches left to do.
So come on up and check it out. Careful... watch that loose rung on the ladder! That's it. You got it. Keep climbing.

Well.... What do you think? Will it serve?

Wow this place is spacious. New digs always are. This empty corner looks perfect for trying out my 'VooDoo Lounge'. Lets see, I'll put the alter here and the coffin there. All the cauldrons of dolls can go in front. It will be glorious. *Runs out to the wagon to get some crates.* Hey. I have to run up to Clear Lake I'll be back in a few days.

On the 28th of this month I'm certain it's being shifted over to 1755. Which is also the closest large suite near the huge 12 person jacuzzi.

dang Lucky!! is there a low spot/sump there? there are some nice little pumps that work great.........where is/are the leak(s)? there is some good stuff that can be put on and seals concrete.
