I last (and first) attended the burn in 2012, then life happened and I moved, changed trades (electrical work is so much more fun than changing oil in cars all day) and resolved to come back to the playa in 2017 after I finished classes. Well, now its 2017 and classes are almost done, so here I am.
About Me:
I (like to think I) am a badass tradeswoman. I hide my freak length hair under a hard hat on a daily basis. I like reading, hot showers on cold winter days, heavy snark, and long walks on the beach provided the weather is nice, there aren't unattended screaming kids and garbage strewn about the place and I have sunscreen. I'm still vegan, hence the veg in my username. No, I'm not militant about it. Enjoy your bacon, I just don't want any. I used to qualify as straightedge by technicality, although I didn't actually identify with or participate in the scene (although CM Punk is awesome). Now I drink on occasion, so the straight part of my username is less than accurate.
I have a project for this year that I'm super excited about that actually fits with the official theme (not just burn shit and blow shit up), but I'm still fleshing a lot of it out. As a teaser, I'm planning on using a copper thermite reaction in the context of a transformation ritual.
