Bill 621 has been introduced in the House directing the Secretary of the Interior to start selling Western lands in Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, and Wyoming.

Unfortunately which lands is a secret because the bill has no text. It is in line with the ideas of two Utah representatives who are keen to mine, drill, graze Utah until the earth is completely subdued. Reminds me of Secretary of the Interior James Watt who believed we didn't need to be concerned about destroying the environment because the Apocalypse was going to rapture all the good guys up to heaven any time now.

On the bright side, Peter Thiel could just tell his buddy to sell Hualapai Playa to him and donate it to the Burning Man Foundation.
