I recently read that in a given day most people only get two hours of actual work done! I'm starting to believe that could be true. Time management appears to be a problem for almost the entire human population. So I decided to break down the key characteristics of this mysterious time thief.

This photo provides a view of all 7 bodies and more bodies in the foreground.

A general description of each one (L to R) as viewed from crowd:

1 – Unidentified - Shirtless with what appears to be a rope or suspenders around his mid-torso, which can be seen in photos from other side.
2 - Bombacci - Dark trousers and dark shirt.
3 - Unidentified - Army trousers (? a little darker), Shirt pulled down. One widely distrubuted photo identifies body as Gelormini(?).
4 - Mussolini - Army officer trousers with stripe on side. Boots. Wearing a light undershirt. His coat was removed.
5 - Clara Petacci - dark skirt & coat(?) Skirt is tied up around her knees.
6 - Pavolini - Boots and Army trousers, shirtless. Sign tied to him.
7 - Starace - Shirtless with Army trousers.

A man in white shirt, standing in the foreground, is holding a piece of paper. Possibly a sign used to identify the criminal and his offenses.

4 [a]How the gold has lost its luster,
the fine gold become dull!
The sacred gems are scattered
at every street corner.
2 How the precious children of Zion,
once worth their weight in gold,
are now considered as pots of clay,
the work of a potter’s hands!
3 Even jackals offer their breasts
to nurse their young,
but my people have become heartless
like ostriches in the desert.
4 Because of thirst the infant’s tongue
sticks to the roof of its mouth;
the children beg for bread,
but no one gives it to them.
5 Those who once ate delicacies
are destitute in the streets.
Those brought up in royal purple
now lie on ash heaps.
6 The punishment of my people
is greater than that of Sodom,
which was overthrown in a moment
without a hand turned to help her.
7 Their princes were brighter than snow
and whiter than milk,
their bodies more ruddy than rubies,
their appearance like lapis lazuli.
8 But now they are blacker than soot;
they are not recognized in the streets.
Their skin has shriveled on their bones;
it has become as dry as a stick.
9 Those killed by the sword are better off
than those who die of famine;
racked with hunger, they waste away
for lack of food from the field.
10 With their own hands compassionate women
have cooked their own children,
who became their food
when my people were destroyed.
11 The Lord has given full vent to his wrath;
he has poured out his fierce anger.
He kindled a fire in Zion
that consumed her foundations.
12 The kings of the earth did not believe,
nor did any of the peoples of the world,
that enemies and foes could enter
the gates of Jerusalem.
13 But it happened because of the sins of her prophets
and the iniquities of her priests,
who shed within her
the blood of the righteous.
14 Now they grope through the streets
as if they were blind.
They are so defiled with blood
that no one dares to touch their garments.
15 “Go away! You are unclean!” people cry to them.
“Away! Away! Don’t touch us!”
When they flee and wander about,
people among the nations say,
“They can stay here no longer.”
16 The Lord himself has scattered them;
he no longer watches over them.
The priests are shown no honor,
the elders no favor.
17 Moreover, our eyes failed,
looking in vain for help;
from our towers we watched
for a nation that could not save us.
18 People stalked us at every step,
so we could not walk in our streets.
Our end was near, our days were numbered,
for our end had come.
19 Our pursuers were swifter
than eagles in the sky;
they chased us over the mountains
and lay in wait for us in the desert.
20 The Lord’s anointed, our very life breath,
was caught in their traps.
We thought that under his shadow
we would live among the nations.
21 Rejoice and be glad, Daughter Edom,
you who live in the land of Uz.
But to you also the cup will be passed;
you will be drunk and stripped naked.
22 Your punishment will end, Daughter Zion;
he will not prolong your exile.
But he will punish your sin, Daughter Edom,
and expose your wickedness.

The Undying Lands were a realm inhabited by Ainur and Eldar. The area included the continent of Aman and the island of Tol Eressëa. The ocean Belegaer separated the Undying Lands from the western shores of Middle-earth. Only immortals and ring-bearers were allowed to live in this realm.

Day is ended, dim my eyes,
but journey long before me lies.
Farewell, friends! I hear the call.
The ship's beside the stony wall.
Foam is white and waves are grey;
beyond the sunset leads my way.
Foam is salt, the wind is free;
I hear the rising of the Sea.

Farewell, friends! The sails are set,
the wind is east, the moorings fret.
Shadows long before me lie,
beneath the ever-bending sky,
but islands lie behind the Sun
that I shall raise ere all is done;
lands there are to west of West,
where night is quiet and sleep is rest.

Guided by the Lonely Star,
beyond the utmost harbour-bar,
I'll find the heavens fair and free,
and beaches of the Starlit Sea.
Ship, my ship! I seek the West,
and fields and mountains ever blest.
Farewell to Middle-earth at last.
I see the Star above my mast!

If you lie not on the grass
Twins will never come to pass.

When the wind is in the south
Slap your sister in the mouth.

Be polite, you must enthuse
At scout-master’s home-made booze.

When the man’s a dirty varlet
Be assured his wife’s a harlot.

Always be polite, you boob,
That’s a sure sign of a rube.

I'm fairly certain it has still never happened. If you have differing information, please share. Though I must say, if we are living in the post apocalypse, it is surprisingly comfortable, well fed, and warfare free.

In the meantime, I think it is safe to assume we can keep right on living this comfortable, fairly care free, peaceful existence right up until we die many years from now of cancer or heart disease.

Now wait a minute. Wolves and lambs do not get on well together. And lions don’t eat straw. But this is the problem with apocalypse: it is in its very essence magical thinking. The very nature of our world is that lions are not vegetarian.
