Well that 53ft of snow (as of last week) on Mt Rose is gonna melt sooner or later :shock: and it feeds streams that go into tahoe or the truckee. Same with the snow on Jobs peak that feeds the walker and Carson rivers.
Something like 11 streams feed Washoe lake from snow melt out of the Carson and Virginia ranges and the snow in the Carson range hasn't started to melt yet. Washoe lake, which was dry last year is already slowly eroding the north bound shoulder of I580 north of Bellvue Rd.
Tired of hearing the new and improved words "atmospheric river".

You've got it right about the schedule. 14 to 16 hour days are not uncommon. I'm getting some support from work for the landslide prediction element of it. Before it's all over, I'll be licensed to fly a drone and doing 3-D overhead photo construction. This semester -3 hours research, 3 hours problems course, and my one out-of-department course-pedology (study of soils). I have a suitcase prepacked for field trip travel. Weekends are clean house, do homework, shop for cheap nutritious fast-to-prepare meals, and read - lots!

A little. The eye with the good close vision is the one with the new black floaters in it, right in the middle of my visual plane, so focusing is a little difficult.

Boy do I ever understand those &^&%$^% black floaters I hate them when in am writing something and they have to float right across the page!

They are aggravating for sure! I have some new ones in addition to the ones I've had since I was a kid. I actually watched them "form" on Sunday morning, and they were really bad for a couple days. They're still awful, but settling. Got a referral to the eye doc because there were some light flashes too, but no tears, so that's good.

I've switched over and bought an elec assist for the trike. Easier storage, less expensive and don't have to bother with DMV.

We had a campmate rent a golf cart last year from their local area. They didnt mutate it but got a disability pass
