Question about ticket registration for 2017 next week

I have a Burner Profile account and a TicketFly account I created last year. Both using the same email as suggested by the ticket peeps. I just confirmed both accounts are up to date.

I am reading elsewhere I still need to register next week even though both accounts are up to date. Is this correct?
If so, everyone (vets & newbs alike) that plan to try in the main sale, need to register next week?

Does registration mean creating new accounts on both sites? Or just login on my existing accounts?
If creating new accounts, my info will be the same and wonder if it will cause issues due to duplicate accounts on both sites.

Use your existing burner profile to register for this year's sale at some point during the 3-day window of opportunity that opens up starting next Wednesday. When you register you'll immediately be assigned your personal code number. That's the easy-peazy part. There may not be a registration link set up to use in the Sparkly Things area of your profile just yet, but it will magically appear at some point between now and then and become active starting at noon PST on Wednesday. It's good that you checked your burner profile and Ticketfly account and refamiliarized yourself with your passwords and such, but I sure wouldn't go and create new accounts unless you have to.

As for sale day itself, I'm not certain about the exact specifics in regard to whether there will be a 'waiting room' again this year or not, seeing as there were problems with it last year, but I suspect we'll hear more info soon, or perhaps someone here can shed light on that.

That's what I was hoping. If forgot about the Sparkly things part of the page. It confused me last year too.

I'm not holding out much hope on the main sale but I will be ready with two WAN IPs on two laptops, and my phone. Gotta do what ya gotta do!
