Inflatables and floor heat

Hi there folks. I'm considering doing some art that would require people to lay on some inflatable laybag or air mattress. I'm wondering if the heat of the Playa floor could cause the inflatables to rupture or melt. I used one inflatable laybag on a hot beach and it was fine. But the Playa may be different.

Any thoughts on the inflatable subject?

Some people have recommended using a foam self inflating matress - those, however, look too thin and close to the floor. They may not explode, but the heat would annoy people.

It is not so hot on the playa that an inflatable would rupture from the heat. The problem is rather the opposite, the inflatables deflate in the cold of the desert nights.

Body heat is more annoying than the heat from the ground, in my experience.

The playa surface is nowhere near like the sand on a hot beach. You won't have any exploding-from-the-heat issues. You pick up way more heat on top from the sun than from the ground below.

I actually lay down on bare playa. In the morning or in the shade in the afternoon. It feels good

My first year, first night, I was exhausted and threw a blanket on the floor of my tent and tried to get some sleep. Woke up shivering uncontrollably. The playa surface itself is surprisingly cold.
