Feel very blessed to join Burning Man this year and want to contribute however I can. Currently reside in New York City with my SO, who is coming as well (as is a friend, a yogi coming from Montana). We're seekers of new experiences and passionate people. Starting the deep dive into our local burner culture and various happy hours. Also, looking to make as many digital friends as possible, so please drop a line!

Logistically, my head is spinning a little when I think about getting myself/bikes/tents/water (on a bit of a limited budget) to the playa coming from New York, but I plan on putting the work in to make something happen. Will probably end up flying out and taking burner express. If you have any advice on that front, please do let me know. I'll be digging around these forums, as well, of course!
Would love to hear from you all so I'll go ahead and ask a question: what is a book you would recommend I read?
I know it's a broad question, but I bet burners have some interesting answers up their sleeves.
