Southern Burners/Theme Camps

Post by moonshinethemermaid » Sat May 06, 2017 6:04 am

Greetings!

I have done a search without grand results...

Where are the southern burners? My regional tribe doesn't make the pilgrimage to the playa but I know you daredevils are here! My name is moonshine. I live outside Asheville with my mate, Mateo Ranchero. We run Mermaid Oasis hydration and self-care camp, a theme camp at transformus, but since canceled this year we are looking for a group to connect with and support.

Say hello if you are near.

Love and light

Hello and welcome - I'm giving this a nudge over to the camps board, since I think that's a better fit.

Hey Moonshinethemermaid. Welcome. Rootpile is a North Carolina BM camp. Search for them.

I believe some burners from the Asheville area built a very cool, large fishing boat named Gypsy Queen and brought it to the playa a few years ago. Not sure what those folks are up to now. I never had the opportunity to meet them, but you can research it and perhaps learn more.

I have connected with rootpile and gypsy bar (maybe the same) here at transformus. I will reach out. Not sure I want to live at the bluegrass camp but I sure will visit with some shine! Keep them coming tribe!
