Re: what are you listening to?
Oh, he stands in front of me And he’s staring manically Screaming oh society What have you done to me?
The ground I’ve tread so many years All this blood and sweat and tears Just to be inside your mould
And do just what I’m told If only I had been so bold But now my body’s getting old
And time is oh so golden If only it could be frozen But you took it away from me Oh society
You took it away from me Oh, my liberty Oh you took it away from me Oh, society You took it away from me
When you brainwashed me with formulas of how I should be Shaped me and raped me of my individuality
Schooled me and fooled me Told me what I could and could not see Took me and shook me Of my urges to be free

Re: what are you listening to?
Calm the fuck down and unclenge your fist I cant see you through the mist How did it come to this? Whipe the tears from inside your head your eyes are looking dead Was it something i said? Take back those words Im not as strong as I look its my soul that you shook and my heart that you took Leave me in my misery, hopefully i'll forget you some day I cant stay, I have to stop my soul's decay You've taken all my dignity its clear to me that this aint child's play I'll be on my way Before my world turns gray Hey, hey you, yes you standing there Is this is pain, would you give me care? Hey, hey you, yes you with the smile Would you take me under your wing for a while?

Sitting here, having a coffee - thinking about my love, 3600Km away. How we met and got together in BRC, 7 years ago. Our love was easy, trust was natural, sincerity unavoidable. Distance has always been our challenge. At times we have been on different continents, different countries, opposite sides of the land. Through it all, no matter what, it always gets better and better. This song brings me back to when I first laid eyes on her.

Wish I'd gone. Old enough but to stupid back then.
Everyone is so politically fucked up that they're segregating themselves in the name of equal rights and liberation.

Re: what are you listening to?
poor old Granddad, I laughed at all his words
I thought he was a bitter man
he spoke of women's ways
they'll trap you when they use you
before you even now
for love is blind and you're far to kind
don't ever let it show
I wish that I knew what I know now
when I was younger
I wish that I knew what I know now
when I was stronger
the can-can such a pretty show
will steal your heart away
but backstage back on earth again
the dressing rooms are grey
they come on strong and it ain't too long
for they make you feel a man
but love is blind and you soon will find
you're just a boy again
when you want her lips, you get her cheek
makes you wonder where you are
if you want some more then she's fast asleep
leaves you twinkling with the stars
poor young grandson there's nothing I can say
you'll have to learn, just like me
and that's the hardest way
ooh la la
ooh la la, la la, yeah
I wish that I knew what I know now
when I was younger
I wish that I knew what I know now
when I was stronger
