Ok so it looks like i was shanghaied into running the M&G again and look forward to seeing you all again. The M&G is my favorite part of the burn and you won't want to miss it.

All Eplayans Welcome
I would like to reiterate that all Eplayans and their guests are welcome, regardless of post count. The first few hours of this event are closed to non Eplayans.

Food / Drinks
This is a pot luck type thing so please bring something to share as mentioned previously in this thread. We have seen some amazing food and incredible drinks at past M&G's and hope to make this year just as good.

Volunteers
Since we are burners a lot less formal volunteering is needed, however several things need to be tended in advance:

If you can help with one or more of these please let me know or post to this thread. We need commitments on these 4 things to make the magic happen.

1. Signage - An entrance sign

2. Name Tags

3. Set up help - 4 volunteers to show up early and help set up the bistro are needed.

4. Someone to organize the M&G greeters / bouncers. This will involve getting there a bit early and basically making sure that the greeters get relieved during the event so they can eat / drink / mingle too.

Casual Volunteering during the event:

Clean up - Mainly clearing tables as the food empties. Possibly replacing trash bags in the cans, and a final clean up at the end. Since we are non moopy burners this is pretty easy - if you see something that needs doing, please lend a hand.

Greeting - Work the door making sure they are Eplayans and give out name tags. This is fun because you get to meet everyone that arrives. If you are asked, please step up so we can keep greeter shifts comfortably short for everyone.

I will be there as far as I know. I am camping with a theme camp this year instead of solo so I don't yet know the timing of my other obligations. But regardless, I will find a way to get over and see you all again.

Last year was fun but this year will be funner and more bigly!

MyLarry has never been on eplaya, but all the eplayans know him and one hopes, loves him.

She has been a slight topic of conversation on these boards in the past, but it was mostly because of certain eplayans saying that I was going to end up cheating on her last Burn (because she wasn't coming to BRC and I was camping with a sparklepony friend of ours). She wasn't the biggest fan of those posts.

But of course that did not happen. I'm a good boy.

For all of you newbies to the ePlaya, you won't want to miss the annual ePlaya Meet & Greet, held at Barbie Death Village Wednesday evening beginning at 6 p.m. Which reminds me, are we going to put this in the Playa Events guide? I know it's not listed yet.

I will be there again this year and will try to stay longer this time. Last year, I ran into Bounce and Flutter early on and went back to their camp for a quick drink and ended up not remembering the rest of the night. I must have had a good time though as I was really hung over the next day.

Some of Doc's absinthe may have been involved as well. Watch out for that stuff, it will fuck you up! LOL

With so many new ePlayans joining this circus everyday, I wanted to make sure they knew about an event that some of us have been attending since, what, 2004 or thereabouts? The Annual ePlaya Meet & Greet, beginning at 6 p.m. on Wednesday at Barbie Death Camp 4:00 and E. Alcohol, food, debauchery; everything that makes playa life worth living. A splendid time is guaranteed for all.

I am in a similar position as ZigZag, as I have chosen to challenge myself by forgoing solo camping this year for something new to me, full participation in a theme camp. But I will attend the Meet & Greet 2017, and look forward to matching some dusty faces with ePlaya names. Thank you BDC, Drawingablank, and everyone else involved in making this fun event happen, and even funner and more bigly than last year! (Hmmm...what to bring to the Meet & Greet?)

(BTW ePlayans, we would love you to visit us at Rootpile, this year at 6:00 and E Street. We bring live Bluegrass music, and hillbilly food, culture, art, and moonshine to Black Rock City, along with our mutant vehicle "On Top of Old Smokey.)
