I sewed 8 moop bags from old tyvek, FedEx envelopes. Easy to carry in pocket or pack. Indestructible.

Beginning the prepping for a 31 day 5000 mile solo road trip starting in early-August passing through nine different states (several more than one time). Two weeks of the trip will be in Black Rock City (I have a WAP) Camping in various federal and tribal campgrounds on the way to BRC. Lots of make ready and maintenance items to keep me busy until departure. Now in my fourth year, I have really pared down the list of wants vs. needs as far as packing.

Tickets arrived one hour prior to receiving tickets have shipped email and got some materials to build a booth. :D

Finally, for my fifth burn, FINALLY obtained appropriate, bright-as-fuck lighting for my bike. I will admit that my bike is always minimally lit and it's nearly caused more than a few crashes. Not this year.

checked inventory & made a shopping list for my paracord bracelet making workshop. The cats were ever-so-helpful with the cord measurements...

I did a test run of my new shade and tent at a local burn over the weekend and it passed with flying colors! Then my tickets arrived when I got home Monday.

I started buying materials for my evap cooler (Lookin' at you, FIGJAM!). Cooling fan, duracool, DC pump, and now I want to build a whole 12V solar power system!! Look forward to building it up this weekend...

Also I bought 6" bidirectional filament tape for my first yurt build, but now I hear that Gorilla Tape might be a better option to protect against UV? Anyone have any input?

Nope go with the 6in bi tape. After the event it will peel off easy and then you can use panels again

Excellent!!! I already have the 6" tape, so that's an extra-double-plus added bonus!! Although I heard rumor that 6" tape was MOOPy... will put forth an effort to de-MOOP if so.

Do be careful when cutting the tape at tear down, you may see a bit of moop there but nothing ya can't pick up. I've done 7 burns in a yurt and that's the only time the tape moops but easy to pick up.

I'm using a Kodiak this year because I wanted to try something different but will always love the yurts

Parts are here for transfer case rebuild. Start tomorrow at butt crack of dawn. See how much I can get done before I sweat my balls off before 10am..... :shock:

Its humid now in AZ, (for us anyway) I stand and sweat. Looking forward to cool off on the Playa. 8)

Gonna be more than one item a day between now and the day methinks. This weekend I stripped like 20 layers of paint off my old trike trunk and test fit it on the new trike. Gonna work real nice.
