No real progress yet, and won't be until winter. All we are doing now is installing the basic RV equipment, so the DMV can approve her as an RV.

Only boring work now. Here, we installed two storage boxes that I salvaged from another bus. These will house the sewer and gray-water tanks.

And here, we are trial-fitting a 98 gallon tank in another storage box. It will hold our fresh water.

Hey Gang! Dos XX please......

I finally got the truck to my buddies, (lift) and dropped the Transfer Case. I tore it down Saturday and found lots of stuff that needs replacing. Ordering parts tomorrow. Its not as expensive as it could have been, but a cost I would rather not have right now, like most auto repairs. :| Everything is cleaned up so when the new parts hit the door, a few hours later it should be ready to throw back i the truck. Fingers crossed.... LOL .......... Never rebuilt a transfer case before........... I boldly go........ :wink:

I noticed I just broke 500 posts. A pittance compared to many of you but a small milestone for me. Do we have a party? :P
2nd time better than the first. And the first was pretty Freakin' Great!

Preparations are in progress. Currently regathering and amending 'all of the things', making some fun art things to bring, as well as gearing up to help an onplaya project. Woohoo!

..and there is the eclipse to sort out as well.

Great time. I got a foul ball at the baseball game in Bakersfield :shock: :D Rarely happens. Humidity was terrible.
Got bit by two mosquitos in Bishop.
Saw a roadrunner near Lake Isabella. Short of the car type during HAN I haven't seen one in I'd say 15 years.

Straight tequila huh. I've heard there are health benefits to tequila so pour it on :wink:

This has been a shite week for me but the thought of BM in 5 weeks and meeting y'all wonderful people is helping me push through.
