I'm in lovely Half Moon Bay, so close enough!

I agree wholeheartedly.... I went around all week with little to nothing on(and the little was just emphasis!) and had no issues whatsoever. If someone made a move that I didn't like, or made me uncomfortable I just made it instantly, but politely, clear I wasn't interested. 99% of guys (and one woman) just moved on. Only once did I have to make myself more clear and less polite.

Also, I feel certain that a loudly stated "I don't like what this guy is doing and he won't stop!!" would have brought help from whoever was nearby.

I do agree with not going out to far on the playa alone... but as long as you are with the crowd.... well, I have faith in my fellow burners to help me out if I yell Help!

By the way, are you from San Fransisco? I love it there,

Hey Jinx!

How about that Lamplighter dude you saw out at 9:00 & Esplanade while you were wearing that awesome cocktail dress made out of chain maille/metal bottle tops who hugged you tight and lifted you up in the air? You winced while he unknowingly pressed those caps in you like a cookie cutter ... sorry 'bout that sister! It was great seeing you and I look forward to catching up soon ~ Know Matter What

THanks 2 our WOnderful Hosts!

Post by Reddclover » Wed Sep 10, 2003 4:44 pm

I was a Virgin this year, and OH what a site my Virgin eyes did see! I want to THank all you WOnderful Men at the Critical Tits Party, you made me feel so beautiful and honored, THank YOu! Especially the guy at the TEA tent. The Tea was wonderful and well needed after so many blender bombs. You were such a gentleman. I did get painted, by another virgin, he was telling me his friends back home would never believe what he was doing that day. I told him my friends wouldnt believe me either! The service was impeccable! All of you were so handsome and helpful.
For those dinky dicks that crashed the party just to see tits? Shame on you, you were the minority and really looked like the asses you are, May all your Titty memories remind you of your MOTHER!
And Women, all you have to do to get one of those dinky dicks off of you is to very swiftly lift your knee..worked for me! Take em with a grain of salt, you have MEN and you have Dinkies, easy to tell the difference. It didnt intrude on my fun, How could we possibly worry about such dweebs, when such MEN were doing such wonderful things just for us? When is it our turn to Honor YOU Oh MEN of Giving Hearts? Can I work in the painting Tent? I am experienced in Penis Painting, well only with frosting, but I will practice I promise!

exactly. nicely put.

i finally participated in the critical tits ride this time around after having the intention of doing so for 4 years. the party at the end of the ride was one of the most thoughtful and best organized large-scale parties i've ever seen on the playa. nice work!

i arrived fresh off the bike ride and stayed for about 45 minutes. it's likely that i left before the drunken debauchery kicked into high gear, so maybe that is why my experience was so positive. at any rate, i thought the pampering booths were great and the fruit trays were heavenly after that dusty workout.

the only suggestion i have is to offer more non-alcoholic beverages. i don't drink alcohol so i had a difficult time finding something suitable to quench my thirst. i was able to score a small cup of gatorade at one point, but it was a tough thing to find amongst the sea of free-standing liquor bars.

after a lengthy bike ride in the desert, the last thing i crave is a drink that's going to dehydrate me even further. i realize it's a party and people want to lush out, but some alternatives might be healthier and cut back on the uncomfortable number of crazed drunks.

Wondreful Time

Post by joshr » Thu Sep 11, 2003 2:37 am

Hello to all!
Just wanted to say what a great job everyone did who organized the CT party.
I came as a volunteer (I was one of the guys directing traffic into the bicycle parking area, I had the silver cowboy hat on. Later I was on misting duty, and serving beer at the bar), and I hope everyone had a great time!
I love the idea of some sort of volunteer-identifier for next year. Just so everyone knows who's official :)

cheers!

this was an amazing time, ice, drinks, boys slaving over you... i had a line up of men ready to serve me, spank me, dance with me, kiss me, admire me, wow this was one of my special moments at burningman 2003.. thank you for the goddess- loving male energy at the end of the ride.. oh yes there was one creep i had to say no to but that was alright.
i think i'd like to see more photos of the party.anyone have any photos they'd like to share.. i'd like to keep this memory as long as possible and visuals usually help.
thanks :P

I will join Critical Tits the day there is a Critical Dicks Ride

Critical Elbows
or Critical Heads Ride.

That is all.

Critical Dicks.....
There are two main categories of dicks...showers and growers....and as much as the ladies would like to see this event, most likely it would have mainly growers leaving them with little to see. I had a female friend suggest Critical Dicks as Critical Tits rode by...then she made the above showers & growers comment......

Seriously no one wants to see the guys, and the women, well they have the style to pull off Critical Tits and do it right.

Oh-kay...
so am I to take from your reply:
1) that people only "go"to Critical Tits to see the big boobies?(Showers)? Gee, I thought it was about celebrating all the boobies, big, small & in between.
2)And men have no style??? Hmmm, I saw quite a bit of male-engendred creativity out on the playa.
3)And no-one wants to see the guys???!!!! WTF???!!
And ...you missed the whole point. Apply your comments to a Critical Ass - or better, a Critical Knees Ride. We ALL have those.
I guess I'm over adulating one body part as a path to liberation.
I'm going to bed. With all my liberated parts in tow.

I guess my reply was influenced by the camera guys next to me...I looked at the LCD screen and it was zoomed in on nothing but breasts...I ended up getting on my bike and riding off.

Yeah, men have style. And they have their audience too.

I also remember seeing something about a 2 to 1 male / female ratio in BRC too.

I'm just ticked at those stupid cameramen who didn't get it, and it came out in the post. You have valid points too...that's why I post stuff on here. I toss ideas and thoughts out and some get validated, others get shredded, and many times I get info back that I learn from. So it's all good.

(Actually it's all about catching PJ on his posting totals. But it's hard to catch up to his one line zingers when you really like getting into the topics you post on and learn something along the way! Speaking of PJ, he better look at the top ten list...I'm at #4 and catching up, he can't slack off on us now)

I helped out at the Critical Tits party again this year. I thought it was a lot more fun than last year (though we still ran out of cups pretty early), with the adoration station, massage, body paint, etc. stations. Serving fruit and drinks was great. I got to wear my latex shorts and be "servant boy" for a few hours. Fun! Especially with all types of cute topless women feeling you up while you're trying to hold a tray steady :-) Interesting turning of the tables.

Hope to help out again next year! I didn't see too many other guys just "hanging around" not helping... every now and then some guy would ask for fruit I was carrying, but not many. Maybe the "male help" checkin station could have been put more near the entrance so that guys arriving could: 1) find it (i didn't until we ran out of fruit and I went looking for another job to do), and 2) be intercepted (should they be there for the first time) and have their role at the party explained.

Suggestions for next year:
1) more cups (or put out a call to BYOC)
2) more massage oils... it's a dusty desert...mass quantities are required
3) more pamper space
4) more serving trays so that drinks can be served w/o having to wait in line

Appreciate the women

Post by kitty » Sat Sep 13, 2003 8:37 am

I loved CT and respectfully enough, all the men in our camp had the decency and the forethought to do their own thing while the women were are at the party. Upon riding home we found them sitting at Pinky's watching the dancers. I say, to all the men who did go to the party, CT is not about you.

Thanks Guys from the Vestibule. You're awesome!

would you prefer NO men at the party? Does that mean you had no use for the services,or that you'd prefer women servers? If your just talking about the "wanderers",who make it to every party that sounds like an orgy, please be a little more specific, because I am a male who was serving, and felt very much like I belonged there.

Some participants might prefer a lesbians-only server staff. Which is an option.

Oops, sorry about that. Of course all the servers and all the guys who were genuinely there to appreciate women and showed it were fantastic. Sorry about that. A million thanks to all you. You guys were the best.

Sky view of CT Party 2003

Shows the dancefloor, ringed with Service Stations filled with men serving women for 4 Hours -

Thank you to the ladies who attended and enjoyed the party...
Kudoz to all the men who volunteered...
It is unlikely that any of the "lurker" type males who tend to invade the space later in the party are reading this,,,but if they are I am sure they are getting a clear look at their impact and our inability to stand for it much longer...

Just as an update...next year the party will have some female rangers present to help as they would anywhere on the playa in the mediation of disruptive energy between citizens...

Lastly,,,one reason I began this thread was to ask for/invite the following:

--Ideas for service stations that women would like to see

--Ideas for servoce stations that men would like to create/motivate/volunteer for...

--Feedback from women about ideas for the stations that existed this year

Always seeking to make the party better

your power, and respectfully comply, if not, then you put him in his place!
I don't see any need to "go get a ranger" If a man steps out of line, politely remind him of his status as a persona non grata at such an event,
he'll get the idea, the men I talked to did. D
Red one,

I got a Ranger at the CT-afterparty even though i am an Army vet and ex-bouncer and weigh 260. The guy in question was incredibly fucked up, highly aggressive, and it wasn't my party. This drunk was the one in ten that requires either the authorities or a solid beating to sort him out. I don't attend BM to participate in either.

CT crew would do themselves and the attendees a favor by recognizing that CT has turned into an outright ogle-fest. Whatever the liberating and subjectifying effects of the ride, CT's afterparty currently aggegates naked women in a way that lends itself to easy objectification by the more troglodytic males on site. Add booze and little or no security and some bad behavior will happen that won't be easily solved with "polite reminders."

Critical Tits party was a success!

Post by yellowdog » Sun Sep 21, 2003 5:19 pm

Thanks Captainerotica, crew, and CT participants for a great party. I volunteered, but every station I checked was running smoothly, so I went out to greet and direct traffic. Ended up bowing to the incoming Goddesses; such blatant adoration appeared to be a hit. Reactions varied from one "Yeah, you're NOT worthy, male scum...(I trust she felt better getting THAT out in the open.) to lots of blushing smiles, "Oh, stop" with a wink, or arms thrown open, basking in the worship.
So, imagine the entry street to the party lined with adoring, bowing, complementing (like "you are beautiful! " "Without you none of us would exist" ) males, to wash away whatever negativity may have been perceived during the ride, and to set the tone for the party.
Dog collar IDs for volunteers is a great idea. Appropriately submissive.

Hey Y'All,

Chris, Robin, and I have been primarily responsible for the sound and music at the CT party over the years. My first year at burning man was '95, and I've been back most years. Helping to make the party happen, has been one of the greatest things I've ever been involved with.

Thanks for all the comments. Being so close to the organization, and so busy during the party itself, it's been hard to experience the party objectively.

Hope you have enjoyed the music over the years. We have tried to keep it to female positive stuff. And having Adie spin and sing this year was great. Thanks Adie.

Also thanks to all the guys who helped set up the sound system; Rabbit and his pals, Clay, Shawn, and the rest of the boat crew, and everyone else.

Any suggestions for tracks to play next year?

In Service,
Paul

P.S. We have a sound system, and love to play private parties if you ever need DJs, get in touch. (We play for beer).

hi captainerotica and the other male goddess-worshippers at the critical tits party.
the bike ride and party was probably the highlight of the whole week for me. the positive celebratory vibe was overwhelming, and i did not have any negative experiences with letchy men, and my lesbian friend was in breast heaven!
i can't think of anything i think you should change. maybe a female ranger nearby might help prevent some of the unwelcome groping or other unpleasant experiences some women reported, but all women need to be able to look after themselves and help others whether at burning man or in the default world. i think bouncers and screening out some male party-goers could change the atmosphere for the worst.
thanks so much for a wonderful experience :D

My Critical Tits Experience was Awesome and Annoying

Post by bojangles » Tue Sep 23, 2003 8:58 pm

2003 was my first BM year, and I was uncertain about doing the Bike Ride, but after a few days here (got here Sunday), I decided I was in. The ride was great, the attitude of both men and women awesome. I personally dislike the dolts who stand in the middle of the women riding, holding a video camera. They get in the way, and frankly, I don't need to worry this might be shared on the www. I come to BM in part to get away from the social constraints and judgement we all usually do, and the idea of someone capturing my image for distribution on sites for people who "just don't get it" bothers me.

Having said that - my female cousin and myself both did the Critical Tits ride, and at the after-party, we saw a middle-aged guy, seemed to be all 'observer", standing in the middle of the dance crowd filming all those beautiful naked women. I said to my cousin that the least he could do was not wear his shorts. Hmmmmm she said - then rushed over at him from behind and whoooosh! down came his shorts. He stood frozen like deer caught in the headlights, willy in the wind, for about 10 seconds, then calmly pulled up his shorts, and turned off and put away his video camera. He clearly got the message.

Nasty? Maybe... Effective? ABSOLUTELY!

Having said that, thanks so much to the organizers - this was a truly great experience - It felt so good to be female and appreciated *grin*

I thought the CT party was one of the highlights of the burn. I had a spectacular time there. All the boys were very polite and sweet. I did get groped a couple times, but always by other chicks, which was perfectly acceptable by my standards. I'll definitely be there next year.

giggle, giggle, giggle....

We did not attend the CT party or ride, but I know of a boy that went, and he was ohhh and aahhh over photos he took...PUNKfuck~
that point would be the noose, I don't want to be on the internet nakkid...or on the screensaver slide show of some frat boy's computer...(tho maybe that could be a compliment on some slimey level...)

but I WOULD love to feel worshiped and have my husband worship other women....
so my point is, i think...if you choose to participate in the CT ride/party you will have to ignore the peepers & photographers, hope their camera lens is too dusty to focus...(& think of it as a simple human beauty shot.....)
as the 1000 other women parade around ~ it is not abnormal ~

btw---GREAT Air SHOT!
....do it again!
