Virgin Burner from the DC area!

Post by siddharthabhagwan » Tue Jul 18, 2017 4:02 pm

Hello Burners!

I am a super excited, curious, well travelled, 29 year old male student, ready for my first burn!

I'm based out of DC (College Park, Maryland technically) looking to join a camp!

I'm a programmer for the web, a musician (rhythm and lead guitar), meditator (Vipassana) and can help with cooking, cleaning and plenty of other stuff!

I've been to the regional meet and am still exploring options to make my first burn a great experience so I can return next year to explore more. I have a great attitude towards all things in life and prefer to be a part of the solution!

I've got my ticket, have read the core principles of the BM and the guidelines for first-time burners.

If there are any camps out there still looking for cool people, I am cool people!

Cheers!

Hey there, welcome to ePlaya!
Elderberry

When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle.
Then I realized that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me

Welcome, siddharthabhagwan! :D

Read camp descriptions in the 2017 Theme Camps and Villages and send an email about yourself and your skills to the camps that look the most compatible. If you don't get any hits, come anyway, and visit theme camps whenever they're available. Introduce yourself to your neighbors and make friends. You sound very outgoing--I think it will be second nature to you.
