It was 104 today at the Reno airport..

I was cleaning storm drains today on i580 so getting sprayed with water every now and again made it more tolable.

I avoid the 580 like the plague. Fortunately for me my work route is Keystone to Pyramid I80. Takes a whole 7 minutes to get to work

Can't say I blame you one bit. Traffic has gotten so heavy on it over the last year, starting around Christmas and seems like it hasn't let up since.
Unfortunately Its the route I work on and the route I use to commute.

Hello bar. Long time no see!
My FB account was suspended yesterday because they think I'm using a fake name. As a result, I'm getting quite a bit done!

Cathy and I are heading up to the playa tonight for our annual Meteor Shower camp out. Meteors or not, it's always a good trip cuz we get to see (from a distance) the city building up *and* it's the ultimate shakedown/tune-up for the burn.
They had a good rain up there on Sunday night and then again last night. It will be interesting to see if it settled the upper layer of chunks.

The surface of the playa . . . makes me wonder how deep does the dust go and what is beneath it?
A dried up lakebed or accumulated debris filling the valley below . . .

We're contemplating going to the playa or out to Dixie Valley on Saturday night coming home around midnight , 01:00 Sunday morning. My understanding is the moon is gonna wash it out
