Oh man.

My head hurts.

Staff party last night at a nice nearby restaurant turned into a Scotch-tasting marathon at the zinc-covered bar. The owner was all too happy to pull down several bottles from the tippy-toes top shelf for the BHA. Oban. Talisker, Laphroaig, and, BHA's new deity: Lagavulin

Then, parked on the side of a backroad to chat on the cellphone on the drive home, Johnny Law pulled up to ask whether I was "okay." Close one indeed.

Nipper and CWL, sounds good. I just wanted to point out there may have been another reason is all. And I don't like to see our cute & surly little RJ so upset. All good.

~~

On another note, I know of a job opening as an account rep in the Western US working in the sex toy/lube industry. PM me if you want more info.

Just coffee for me this morning... I've got another rip roaring day ahead of me...

So... tonight the happy news is that we are SOLD OUT, every freakin show, for this week and the nesxt. RIGHT ON! We had a waiting list of 28 people! We turned away 20 somethihng people on a thursday fucking night! (this is a very very big deal for this little theater.)

The sad news is... all you lovlies that already came and saw the show? Yer it. You are the only people in my life that freakin **bothered** to come see me on stage in one of the best shows I've ever been in. This includes my *parents* dammit, not to mention all the boys I've been fucking **dating** (only one of which has never said "oh, hey... I'd love to see you in that... " fucking liars! The one who never fucking lied about his intentions to see the show gets bonus points...)

Sensei, darlin... I fucking love you. That's fucking frienship, man. You have no idea how much it meant to see you out there, twice. The rest of y'all who saw it once? I fucking love you too. It means a fucking LOT that I had a night where I could look out and see some friendly faces.

So, we were all talking (god bless the theater bar) over drinks tonight and it's possible... just fucking possible we'll add a show or two. It depends on schedules of course. But if we do I'm gonna be twisting some fuck9ing dicks to come see it...

My oh my, maybe I should have stopped drinking a teensy bit earlier...

Nah.
Lydia, I feel you babe... I had my first big dance show in, oh, august or some shit... I had over 20 people--personal friends, customers, people who I had talked to ONE-ON-ONE, who said they were coming. These >20 were ON THE RESERVATION LIST.... but nary a one showed up. I danced for a house of complete strangers---the only person I knew was my contact improv partner. I hadn't cried that hard in a long time.

but, you know we love you, and we'll support you as much as we can. Who needs those other fucks, anyway?

Oh, wait... sex drive... hmmm....

(No twisting will be necessary.)
unless it's of the nipple variety... then, by all means, twist away...

okay, coffee's ready. And, because it's friday, and because I'm the boss, and because I'm the only one here right now, I'm having a hefty shot of whiskey in my coffee... anyone want to join me??

Check out the Canadian Happy Hour site. It provides a lot of info about Cognac and also Cointreau which earlier got mixed up with Triple Sec (though reading the descriptions, they're very similar).

It's going to be alright.

I just don't want to deal with it today, so I'll post in wings. I wish I had my old avatar back--I miss it. I'll see if I still have it on file.

I"m hoping I just forgot which iteration of my log in I used for the fishy, but I'm scared that my log in just dissapered in a e-playish way.

Oh the plus side, I met Techno, Badger and Tonytohono last night.

A toast! A round of Mariana Fruit Doves for all! (I can hardly have the regular Pago-Pago Octopus in this state, can I?) What's a Mariana Fruit Dove? A deep, strong, dark shot (for the trench) with a light fruity chaser that brings on a sence of peace.

There was a BM office party for volenteers last night--which I did not mention previous because while I guess there's flexibility in the attendees, I'd bet it doesn't extend to being posted on this sight.

Tony's on his way to Sebastapol today to meet LongLanks.

Thanks. mmmmmm...good.

Friday is nearly over for me. 2 more hours of work and then I'm going to nap for a bit in prep for the big 40 oz party tonight.

Which, if you're curious, can be viewed here. I think the vid will refresh starting at 9pm EST, that 6pm PST for the time zone challenged.
It's going to be alright.

"poof" is what a parakeet does when she's cold--she poofs out all her feathers. the MrFishist and I adopted it to things that are annoying and aggravating and ire producing.

WE had one, Priscilla, but she died on Feb 22 of this year. I retired this identity that next day--too sad to use it--and became Crypto. I want more, but he's grieving deeply and our life is a little chaotic right now.

Thank you, thank you m'dear. I kinda like count sockula myself.

I'm having a loverly day. Made out on the couch with the beau while my littlest one (recuperating from a tummy bug) ate chicken noodle soup. Went to my middle one's christmas presentation, which was over-the-top bright and sweet and giggly.

The wind is brisk today, and big swooshes of multicolored leaves going everywhere all of a sudden, and the sky is unbearably blue. I got my head straight on this job situation of mine. I think I'll clean my house (for a change)!

We can't have dogs or cats, he's allergic.
We have a wide variety of plush though. A purple high-femme raver puppy princess. 4 Puffins, including one bent on world domination and another working on a career in blue movies. A trio of gobbling turkeys. And a fount of hybred wisdom, "Bunnydog" who came from the BM office. Not as interactive, but at least we don't have to clean cages.

giggles, sounds like you have indeed begun to have a loverly day...

I miss making out regularly... that's a great way to start any day, as far as I'm concerned...

here, the big boss man is officially on his way back to cali, so I'm a little freer to do whatever I want, though he's never as hard-assed as I expect him to be, and we usually sit around the office talking about sex and partying and the like. He was watching me online for a while, too... wondering what the hell this board was about and such...

Birdie; how allergic?? My dog is hypoallergenic...
