Hi all,

We're Sophie and Alex from London, and really excited to be going to our first burning man! A bit about us:

Sophie, 33, started a massage clinic 3 years ago and is now expanding across London. Incredibly warm and smiley, don't be surprised if she absentmindedly massages your arm while saying hello! Sophie is looking forward to finding out more about herself, and pushing past the every day boundaries.

Alex, 29, runs a tech company specialising in hybrid and electric vehicle technology. You're likely to find him trying to build something, and will either excite or bore you with his weird and wonderful ideas. Alex is looking forward to the challenge of surviving out on the Playa, and interacting with a lot of new people.

We aren't part of a camp yet, and not sure if we will be, but let us know if you're up for connecting.

Make sure you've checked out the Theme Camps & Villages forum, or Green Tortoise Adventure Travel if you're looking for a camp.

Note: theme camps are not necessary to your survival, and they're not for everyone! It can be nice to camp "solo" (i.e. be a camp of two) and just make friends with all your neighbors, and come & go as you please.
