Retired math teacher virgin burner
I'm Mama Shuey, a name my kids' friends call me. This is my first burn since BM is always during the first week of school. I taught for 40 years in Virginia public schools. My daughter is a long-time burner and has always wanted me to experience BM with her. It's really happening this year! I am very excited to meet lots of newbies like me as well as veteran burners like my daughter. I have volunteered to work at the Center Camp Sound Stage and also at the Center Camp Cafe. I'll be in the Rhythm Wave Camp at 5:00 A. Come dance with us!

Mama Shuey, Welcome. I feel I should thank you for the job you did. I wouldn't of lasted a day. Please come to the eplaya Meet & Greet. (There is a separate thread here that talks about it.) We would love to meet and hug you in person. Just walk up to the bouncer and say 'pineapple' or you can tell em you're an eplayan. I may be the bouncer. The event has pot luck food and drink so we limit it to eplayans and their guests for about 3 hours. Starts at 6pm. Barbie Death Camp.
