Replacement Tumb Screws for Conduit?

Post by uncle sticky » Mon Aug 14, 2017 10:08 am

Anybody know what size the thumb screws are that are used to secure corner fittings to 1 inch and/or 3/4 inch conduit are? I need to replace a few, and my hardware is in a container somewhere in Gerlach area. I'm talking about the screws that are used to tighten the fitting to the conduit when constructing a shade structure.

Eeek we have 2 carports and each is a different size eyebolt. Not sure if there is a standard, sorry! Did you get it from Black Rock Hardware, they may know.

They won't be smaller than 1/4 or larger than 3/8. Almost certain to be corase thread. Maybe the OP should bring 1/4-20, 5/16-18 and 3/8-16. Unless they're metric :(

Just buy a handful of each at Lowes/HD and save the receipt. Return the ones you don't/can't use.
