Need the right bendable tube/wire/pipe?

I need to bend a pipe, tube, or something by hand into the shape of the letter "J".....

any thoughts on the simplest way I could do this? Or the best pipe? I was told not to use copper...

EMT pipe and a tubing bender might be your best bet. I believe both are available at Home depot

You can bend PVC conduit with a hair dryer/ hot air gun. Buy an extra piece to practice on.
Should be able to find it at Lowes or Home Depot

Floor heating tube PEX-AL-PEX or similar. easy to shape and reshape by hand.

A stretch of 2 meter will bend under its own weight, one meter if already bend a few times.

Wears out any stiffnes if bend too frequent.

Maybe if you were a bit more specific on intended use ... maybe

You could bury a truck drive shaft 2/3 into the ground then use a backhoe or tractor to bend the free end too.

Thank you all - I asked at the last minute and just could not get the suggested items and - yes, I'm not so good sometimes at stating what I need in the most articulate way.

see, and I was thinking about 3" of bailing wire.

if you could cork both ends of tube , you could put water in it and freeze it. Then when ya bend it it wont collaspe .
