Ride Wanted: 4 Burners Need Ride From Reno and Back. Can Assist With Ticket & VP

4 Burners from the East Cost ISO a ride to and from the Playa from Reno. We had a ride lined up but he bailed due to health issues. 3 of us are flying in on Friday the 25th and spending a night at the Sands. Our 4th will be arriving on Saturday. Majority of our gear will be shipped out on the container, so you would need to have space for 4 bodies, carry on and checked luggage, and any last minute food, water, booze we buy in Reno.

Last year we timed our arrival perfectly for gate opening and would like to try again. As for a ride out, I volunteer with the Temple, so we would need to leave Monday morning after the Temple burn. We'll be staying at the GSR Sept 4-6th.

We are not with a camp, but our container will be at 5:15 & H and plan on staying in open camping somewhere in that vicinity. It would be nice if you camped with us but if not some help getting our gear to and from the container would be appreciated (After 4 years of schlepping crap across the Playa by hand I'm officially over it).

I'm curious, a car rental at the airport would cost you $350 or so, let's call it $450 if you pay someone to detail the car when you return.

A ticket and VP which you are offering cost you $500 or so with all the fees.

So why can't you rent a car and just sell the ticket?

I suppose having a chauffeur could be nice, but so much could go wrong.

Good luck finding a ride. Maybe consider splitting up your crew as finding someone with 4 seats in a vehicle will be tough, should your ticket barter fall through.
