I find that Calgon sort of disolves the dust and makes kind of a slime, then the vinegar strips off the slime...makes everything shiney and new again.

Well, I'm making real progress. Hosed off the van. Of course tomorrow it will look like hell but it made me feel good. CLEARED OUT THE FRONT ROOM. Well, 'Hello floor'. There is still some organizing but it is mainly stashed.

I rewarded myself by cutting and edging miles of sheer curtains. These are to decorate the interior of the commissary at Decom. It's a small vacant lot with a wall on one side and 3 sides of chainlink fencing. It'll be nice to have something pretty in there.

YES, calgon with vinegar is the ultimate post playa cleaning solution...Which reminds me that I need to get more calgon! All of the things, are not clean yet. I slacked the last two years and didn't clean some things and now my tent trailer canvas and window vinyl are crisp and just about through, bungee balls are finally starting to rot in numbers. Not bad for 7 years use. The canvas is still the original from 1980.

2016!! Last year's list. Don't get confused.....It's time to look back and compare. Last year were you ahead of the game? I've never ever waited this long to shop and pack. One year I had my clothes packed in June or July. (Not a problem because I have a completely separate wardrobe from my day to day stuff. Now let me see. What was I doing this time last year?

I was taking my carport down last night and right after I cut my leg on rebar (thinking "FIGJAM is right about lag bolts but I'm to stubborn to admit it or change") I looked over at the partially disassembled structure and thought "Thats kind of cool, I wonder if it would work on Playa".

Has anyone ever tried using 1/2 a carport for a shade structure? I don't actually see any advantage of this but it looked kind of neat.
