Hello, Everybody -
I'm the first-time burner from the Twin Cities, Minneapolis!
I and my friend both are new burners and looking for a campsite. We are planning on bringing an SUV to stay and sleep. We are happy to contribute and also bringing water or any thing that's needed to the camp site.
Looking for an experience camping ground so we can contribute and learn too.
We both are in Technology and please shout out if you have a spot for us to camp and can't wait!

Hi Vinoth, in a rare event that you will not be able to find a camp make sure to get some kind of a shade structure. You can find bunch of designs but last year (it was our first year too) we built something like that: https://aftbit.com/burning-man-shade-structure/
Don't forget some kind of tarp underneath to catch derbies. We used 2x4 as legs, however 1' EMT Conduits might be better as they don't leave wood chips (although you need to figure something for the legs, similar to what tightshade.com does)
We camped on 2:15 & I last year - it is close to sound camps, however it was far enough to sleep alright anytime of the day.
This year we most likely be with a camp where I'm volunteering, however if something won't work we will be back at 2:15 & I (search for red illuminated palm installation if so), feel free to drop by.

Welcome!
You don't need a theme camp to survive; just study the map the Greeters will give you and find an Open (not color-shaded) spot. Talk to your neighbors before you build anything that requires staking.
Check the Theme Camps forum here for camps that are still open if you really want to, but please know that most camps closed their registrations weeks or months ago, and are in the process of loading their trucks and leaving town.
Make sure you've read the Survival Guide! Camps value people who have studied the ropes and made an attempt--and if you don't find a camp, you'll be extra glad that you know the basics.
