Center Camp Cafe and Altar Art

If you spent any time at the Center Camp Cafe, you may have noticed that the Cafe was expanded this year by carpeting and furnishing the outer ring (under the sloping shade cloth) and that there was "Altar" Art decorating that space. This was an attempt to increase the size of the cafe and provide more art space without altering (pun intended) the structure itself. Did you notice? Do you think it worked? Did it provide more usable space? Did you enjoy the art? Do you miss the shaded bike parking?

I loved the altars, especially yours gadget, made all out of zipties...it was way different than I expected, I really liked it. Some people decided to camp out in my girls altar space though, and were vibing people who came in to use it like it was "their" space. That shit was kind of wack in my opinion...I mean the whole thing is supposed to be about radical Self reliance right? Not radical mooching....Aahh but thats just bitching....Bravo and a handclap for everyone who spen time and effort to make the cafe a beautiful place this year.
