The World Naked Bike Rides take place all over the World at various times. Some draw a dozen riders. Some a few hundred. Then there is Portland, Oregon, with 10,000 riders! Ten Thousand!
This year, hopefully I will be number 10,001. How about you?
June 24 is the date. The ride is in the evening.
I live in Clearlake, about 90 miles north of Sacramento and also the Bay Area. And I plan to drive Millicent, my Playa bus, to Portland.
Though not by myself.
But if a handful Burners and maybe others will join me and pay for the fuel, we can all go!
Millicent has several bunks, and a bathroom. And plenty room for bikes and other gear. She is noisy and uncomfortable, but reliable. We drive her on several annual trips -- averaging 5,000 miles a year.
