Stuart, I think going to the event to show your support is OK. Appreciation is also usually welcome. It's the exploitation that's disrespectful. Or maybe it's just sad... to be a mere observer and not a participant.

The Critical Tits ride is a brilliant and complex event. All sorts of feelings and motivations going on amongst the riders, supporters, and voyeurs.

On the other hand, frat boys are frat boys. That won't change.

I've met the Badger (it was only once and just for a few minutes) and Sensei found him quite huggable - and I got that hug. But Sensei's contacts range far and wide... I remember hearing another Ranger saying what happened once when "someone really got Badger ROYALLY pissed off"...

i was on shift when the whole jiffy lube protest went down, and got pulled out to stand watch at a street corner just before i refilled my water bottles. that led to a dehydration fueled adventure and spiritual journey of revelation that made it clear that i was pretty done with the event as it stands today.

now all you gotta do is figger out which part of that badger was involved in...
